About the Chicago Fashion Incubator at Macy’s on State Street The Chicago Fashion Incubator (CFI) provides six emerging Chicago-based designers with the resources, including workspace, curriculum and mentoring, to launch their careers in fashion. The Designers in Residence (DIR) are provided office space, including computers and software; a workshop room with sample production space and a resource section; as well as a showroom. DIR are required to complete a core curriculum of workshops and seminars conducted at the Incubator location at Macy’s on State Street for the duration of a one- year period starting in March 2010. CFI is part of the Mayor's Fashion Initiative, which supports and promotes fashion designers living and working in Chicago through events, seminars and City programs. |

the Alzheimer’s Association Rita Hayworth Gala steering committee.
Princess Yasmin Aga Khan established the Rita Hayworth Galas to pay tribute to her mother, Rita Hayworth, who lived
with Alzheimer’s for many years before succumbing to the disease in 1987. The event is held annually in Chicago , New
York and Dallas and has raised more than $53 million over the years providing support to valuable Alzheimer’s
Association programs and funding for Alzheimer research.
Two honors will be presented at the Gala. The Walter S. and Lucienne Driskill Foundation will receive the Alzheimer’s
Association’s Civic Award for their significant efforts to advance Alzheimer’s disease research.
The Alzheimer’s Association Corporate Award will be presented to MB Financial Bank. Led by CEO Mitchell Feiger, MB
Financial Bank has committed significant resources to the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission and they have been a
