

D.C. Crenshaw is a food and lifestyle personality and a two-time Emmy nominated TV
Host and Executive Producer. He is founder and President of Fête, the “World’s Premier
Dining Network”, an eleven year old market event company that showcases the newest
and best restaurants in Chicago via dining events and online videos.
After generating a lot of interest and buzz in the social event community, D.C. was
consistently tagged to host and/or promote other social, charitable and political events
throughout the city. He became notorious for hosting the most unique and diverse
events in Chicago, including the first political fundraiser for then U.S. Senator Candidate
Barack Obama.
D.C. founded Fête Select TV LLC, a media production company, in 2009 and created
Game Time Dine, a TV show that merges fine dining with professional athletes. The
show aired regionally on Comcast Sportstnet and features athletes and celebrities
talking food, sports and fun.
D.C. has been featured in media outlets including appearances on the Giuliana and Bill
E! reality show. Other appearances include NBC 5 Chicago, 24/7 Chicago, WGN News,
"Dining Out" CBS 2 Chicago, and “In the Loop With iVillage”. D.C. was a celebrity
contestant in “Dancing With Chicago Celebrities” and has been honored as one of four
“Men on the Move” and one of ten “Cheekiest Men of Summer” in Chicago.
D.C. is a frequent celebrity guest and emcee at Chicago’s premiere events and has
guest appeared on various radio shows including ESPN, B96 with Showbiz Shelly, 97.9
FM The Loop with Johnny B, the Geoff Pinkus “Living Large” radio show and the Jarrett
Payton Show. D.C. and Game Time Dine have been featured in Chicago Magazine, CS
Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, and the Chicago Sun Times.
A native of Ohio, D.C. attended Bowling Green State University. After graduation, D.C.
played in the Arena Football League for two years with the Columbus and Cleveland
Thunderbolts and pursued an NFL pro football career with the Detroit Lions. D.C. spent
14 years in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries before leaving corporate
America. D.C. is married and has a three year old son.
