The Women's Board of The Joffrey Ballet hosted COUTURE & COCKTAILS a night of fabulous fashion,
auctions, small bites, and an after party to remember.

This year, the 6th annual Couture & Cocktails was held at the Hudson. The venue was an open loft space, full of
character and even slightly Gothic. It was lit up with brightly colored spotlights and sparkling candles. The
magnificent event was co-chaired by the beautiful Kristina McGrath and Rebecca Besser. Fashion Designer
David Meister's couture creations hit both the runway and the party, as several women wore his label. The
runway show was co-presented by Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue. Elegant fashion was in full force, even as
a few Bears players came out to support the great event. Kelly Zinc from ClebTV.com was seen interviewing
some of the events elite party-goers on the Red Carpet and party floor.

To Raise money for the ballet, guests bid on items such as a trip to the PGA Masters Tournament and a Los
Angeles getwaway with The Joffrey Ballet and David
Meister. DJ Ashok brought guests into a separate party room, where there was dancing, mingling, and
enjoying the beautiful night at the Hudson.

Thursday night was all fashion as we headed to the Ivy Room (E. Ohio St.) where CS Magazine held their Chic Boutique. The room
hosted several local boutiques and their models, and were given the spotlight to showcase their Spring collections. Each guest
was given a reusable tote and a glass of Voga Champagne while shopping vintage and new fashions, mingling with the
industry's most acclaimed crowd.

The Underground continued the fashionable soiree, featuring a new catwalk for the occasion.
Agency Galatea models rocked out
to the live band while wearing the latest looks from Sofia Vintage Clothing & Accessories. We have some wonderful photos from
the night, but won't be able to do the band justice. Think Janis Joplin, where rocker meets rasp.

The event was fabulous, the drummer girl rocked, and we had a Voga-blast.

Cheers to the night!

Chuck or Nate? This show can get complicated at
times but picking the jewelry wasn't! Gossip Girl
loves our jewelry and we know we know, we've
been on Gossip Girl a lot but there's no such thing
Ok, then for the gossip. Is Raina going to be with
as too much. They're now the fashion icon on tv.
Let's pat Julie on the back and say she did a great
job with the designs. The citrine earrings Raina
wears is so classy!

their first Red Dress Party, benefiting

Marcus Riley from NBC, Candace
Jordan and Miss Foozie, the Red

energy musical performance by
Kristine W was a definite crowd
pleaser. DJ Harmonix & DJ Jeanette
got the audience moving, as the open

While this event was entertaining
from every false eyelash to the top of
every wig, it was far more than a
spectacle. Ten years ago, in Portland,
two gay men with AIDS made a
promise to one another- when one
dies the other will NOT wear black to
the funeral, they will wear a RED
DRESS.

That spirit has brought AIDS
awareness in the form of Red Dress
events in several cities across the
country. Kind of makes you think- if
one simple act of support can do so
much, what are we waiting for?
Please, take minutes out of your day
