Kathy was born and raised in Chicago and considers herself to be the “ultimate
city girl”. She received her education at DePaul University and The Institute of
Broadcast Arts.
Kathy began her career in broadcasting on the air, in clubs and at remotes. She
has the distinction of having been nominated 11 times for Female DJ of theYear
with 6 wins.
From broadcasting Kathy moved into event planning and production and began her own very
successful company which she owned and operated for many years. She branched out and began
event planning for sports teams, civic and corporate organizations and the Walt Disney Company.
Kathy then tweaked her career path a bit and moved to the “hotel” side of the hospitality
business in the role of Corporate Sales Manager.
Kathy’s life-mantra is to squeeze the joy of every second of each and every day and smile.
