PACC HOSTS LUNCHEON BRIEFING ON THE NEW POLISHLCOI SYSTEM AND
SIGNS AGREEMENT TO FORM CHICAGO-BASED LOCAL INVESTOR SERVICE
CENTER   

   CHICAGO (October 16, 2010) - Held Friday, October 15, 2010 on the 44th Floor
of Chicago's John Hancock Center, the Polish American Chamber of
Commerce (PACC) luncheon briefing and conference featured a presentation
on the new Polish Local Investor Service Centers LCOI System designed to
provide new solutions to more effective communication and business
information transmittal for those interested in business and trade
opportunities in Poland.

The theme of the event, "The LCOI System - Business Magnet - Attracting
Partnerships and Capital," related to the establishment of the LCOI Vortal, a
unique Europe-wide professional search engine and an instrument of
automated communication and Internet-based presentation utilizing its own
in-house technological solutions and the newest Microsoft and Google
products. In addition to the Polish American Chamber of Commerce (PACC),
organizational co-sponsors of the event included the Trade Office of the IL
DCEO; the Polish American Contractors Builders Association (PACBA);Comset
Comnputers; the Investment and Trade Section of the Polish Embassy in
Washington DC; Miller Canfield; and World Trade Center Illinois.        

The October 15 luncheon presentation highlighted the presence of a
delegation from Poland representing the EU-funded Eastern European Gateway
project, which is a part of the Operational Program of Development of Eastern
Poland - the National Convergence Strategy. Presenters included Mr. Zdzislaw
Wojtasik, project development manager, and Mr. Krzysztof Raducki, IT
coordinator. The Polish delegation also included the president of the Local
Investor Service Center of Bieliny, Anna Lubek, and representatives of local
government economic development agencies.

The most important goal of the LCOI - Eastern European Gateway project is to
increase interest in the business and tourism opportunities in eastern Poland
based on the independent and cooperative activities of the newly-established
Local Investor Service Centers (LISC). Five of Poland's 16 voivodeships that
belong to the sector designated as Eastern Poland will benefit from the project.

After the October 15 presentations, representatives of the PACC and of the
Bieliny, Poland-based Association Lysa Gora Local Activity Group, which
initiated the Eastern European Gateway project, signed a cooperation
agreement, as part of which the PACC will play a more direct role in the project
by establishing a new local, Chicago-based, Polish American Investor Service
Center.

PACC president Lucas Fuksa, who signed the agreement on behalf of the
Chamber, stated that, "Given the high number and the high caliber of attendees
today, our Chamber has already made one more significant contribution to
helping identify new markets and new opportunities for our members and for
the local business community. The agreement we've just signed will add to our
Chamber's bi-national dimension and contribute to enhanced trade relations
between the US and Poland."
