Not Alone is a 501c3 non-profit that supports and provides programs and services to those
impacted by challenges returning warriors and families face. The stories and triumphs shared by
returning veterans were inspiring and insightful at a... recent fundraiser for Not Alone at the Watershed
Restaurant in Washington DC on St. Patrick's Day. The highlight of the evening was a heartfelt key-note
welcome from Edward "Sonny" Masso, Rear Admiral, US Navy (Retired) Chairman, Board of Directors of
Not Alone.
Not Alone offers life-changing programs at no cost to warriors and families. For many warriors, returning
to life as they knew it is phase II of battle. The final phase, all too often is the road to recover from PTSD,
adjustment to new perceptions within themselves and experiencing new emotions compounded by post-
traumatic stress syndrome. Returning home for many is the last phase of battle – and more often than not
a family battle. Join us as we share commitment to recovery of those who made a commitment to us on
the battlefield.
